I'm Playing Hostess Tonight
{Outfit: dress, Macy's; belt, Old Navy; shoes, Cutesygirl; watch, Fossil; boot socks, Target; ring, gift; crochet scarf, I made it}
I am looking forward to playing hostess tonight. I am having my family over for dinner at our new place for the first time. Nathan is going to cook up a delicious chicken dish and his famous stuffing. I am making my famous mac n' cheese.
I am glad I included this dress in my 30 for 30. I paid entirely too much money for it and I've only worn it twice. I initially bought it for our 2 year anniversary when we went to see Phantom of the Opera, and then to a school dance I chaperoned. I altered the sleeves a bit. They used to have a ruffle trim, but I removed it so I can wear cardigans and such on top of it without it looking bulky. Maybe one of the best things I've ever done...ok, maybe not.
