Melody
Hi, I'm Melody. Wife to Nathan, mom to Hudson and Jayde, teacher to many.

Confession

Tonight was just one of those nights. I said I would share my journey to having a baby with you ladies, and like any journey there are bound to be highs and lows. I am at my low. I have been feeling very discouraged lately. I think I am at that part where you start to feel sad. Nathan offers words of encouragement saying we haven't been trying all that long considering I've just started my medication 2 months ago. But 2 months feel like 6. He says all things will work out in due time, and that he is anxious too. I am one to put on a happy face and push through and pretend nothing is wrong, because the last thing I've ever wanted is people to pity me, but I don't want to hide my emotions because it causes me extra stress and sadness. So here it is. I am sad, but I am sure tomorrow will be a new day.

  6. Mel, my sister in law had endometriosis and one of her ovaries was destroyed. The doctors said it would be difficult for her to get pregnant, but now they have three children. It did take them a while to get pregnant at first, So please be patient. I'm sure you'll have other down days, but you are blessed to have a supportive and loving husband and family.
