Independence Day 2008

In celebration of our nation's birthday Nathan and I went to the all American restaurant Bob's Big Boy. We both got the famous double decker cheese burger, fries and a Vanilla Coke. We then went and bought a BBQ so we can engage in one of America's most traditional forms of cooking. Tonight for fireworks we went up to West Ranch High where I teach. Since it is on a hill we had a view of the whole of Santa Clarita Valley. We had about 4 fireworks shows to choose from.

I love our freedom and those who have fought in the past and those who to continue to fight for it.

What a steal! and where did you get your background stuff and header stuff. I love all the digital scrapbooking stuff you have.

Independence Day 2008

Nathan and I formally met in 2005, yet we knew who each other was long before that. Since Nathan was best friends with the oldest son of the Krogh family, I saw Nathan many times throughout my adolescent years. But, seeing as he is six years older than I, nothing ever happened. Then one day I grew up. Nathan and I were married on a beautiful, rainy day in January 2007. Melody teaches 10th grade English, which she love, and recently started a little side business called Lap of Luxury Designs. It is her little creative outlet. Nathan is a counselor at a residential facility for juvenile delinquents, and he loves it. We have two of the cutest little dogs, Sarah and Delilah. We love to travel, eat at good restaurants and experience new things together. We hope you enjoy, and that you leave a comment and let me know what you think.
