One Oue-Gooey Loaf
About a week ago I found this recipe for lemon pull-apart bread and I knew I wanted to make it right away. I love lemon bread and monkey bread, and this combines what is fabulous about both into one oue-gooey loaf. My friend Chloe and I decided to split the ingredients and get together and make it. We did last night. At first I was rather intimidated by the recipe because of the many steps involved, but once we started it actually wasn't that hard, just a little time consuming. But it was well worth it. The best part about this bread is how you can pull the slices apart. We ate it right out of the oven which was such a great idea because is was so warm and the gooey, tangy cream cheese frosting oozed with goodness as it melted from the heat of the bread. We ate half the loaf between the two of us and saved the rest for our hubbies.
I don't cook that often, but I love baking.
My mouth literally started watering when I saw this. I MUST MAKE IT!! I love monkey bread but i'm allergic to cinnamon so I miss it all the time!! I sent this to my mom too...YUM!!
