Why-lee De-lie-lee

Look at my pretty Delilah. She is my little guardian. She always lays next to me, and when she thinks I am unsafe (people walking up the apartment complex stairs, or walking by our door) she comes over and sits very close to me, as if the "bad guys" have to get through her before they can get to me. She also does this every time I am home alone and I am in the bathroom doing my make-up or taking a shower, she will lay in the hallway that leads to the bathroom very alert and on guard. She is protecting me, as she is in the picture below.
