The Graduate
Today marks the first day of Nathan the graduate. On January 27th of last year, Nathan embarked on the journey that would earn him his Bachelor Degree. He enrolled in Ashford University's (located in Iowa) online program for Sociology, and when 30 units is the norm for 1 year of schooling, in 13 months, Nathan completed 60! I am so proud of him. He is the first college graduate ever in his family. Nathan graduated with a 3.8 even! So, after a lifetime of second guessing himself, Nathan finally knows that he has the ability to accomplish great things.
To celebrate his accomplishment, I took him out to a nice dinner at one of our favorite restaurants, The Cheesecake Factory. We, of course, had to go to our favorite location which is in Marina Del Ray. We shared one of Nathan's favorite dishes of all time the Chicken Madera and a delicious piece of red velvet cheesecake.
One of Nathan's favorite dishes anywhere: Chicken Madera
The red velvet cheesecake is to die for.
That is so amazing! Congratulations to Nathan, he should be so proud of himself. This is something to be celebrated for sure.
ReplyDeleteYey, congrats! That's Dustin's favorite dish too, he gets it everytime!
