Goodbye May
May is gone. It is hard to believe how fast this year is passing by. I can't believe I only have 3 more days of work, and then my second year of teaching will be over. This weekend was nice. Things have really slowed down for me; I can taste summer.
This weekend I did have some free time, so I made a summery top (I still need to tailor it a little; it is kinda loose). It only cost me $2.79 to make!

Here are pictures of my cute babies from the weekend.
Sunday was my little brother Brandon's 24th birthday. He had a little gathering where he had a showing of a short film he made. His friend showed one as well. He had a big screen on which the movie was projected. People cuddled in blankets on the grass and benches. It was nice to see some old friends I haven't seen in a while."Happy Birthday to You!" Brandon's friend Brittany made him a yummy cake too.
Cute top you made!! I love the color! Oh I wish I could've been at Brandon's birthday party! I miss that guy! I can't believe either that I am almost done with my second year of teaching! We are practically pros. :) Yay for the summer!

ReplyDeleteThat top is ADORABLE! I'm seriously so jealous of your sewing abilities and the fact that you can make a shirt for under $3! This really makes me want to step it up in order to better myself and my talents. Thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteCute top! I love the yellow. Is that Barnes in the picture? Happy Birthday to Brandon.
