So, I was told my blog needs an update, and I agree. Here is the scoop. Nathan and I celebrated our 1 year anniversary on January 27th. We went out to dinner the night before to our favorite restaurant, South Point, and enjoyed a sumptuous dinner. Unfortunately, we both totally forgot to eat the top layer of our wedding cake! Now we need to figure out another special time to eat it.

I am going into the 4th week teaching of the second semester, and time is already flying. This semester is going to be over before I know it, and then it will be the summer and will have 3 months off! Starting this semester with one under my belt has helped me feel more confident, yet there is always some new challenge. Right not I am trying to memorize a bunch of new names, and that is always a challenge. But, all has been great. This job is such a blessing.

Nathan enjoys his job, he is working for an advertising company called Cornerstone Display Groups, and it is doing him really good. It is always nice to have a job you don't dread going to-- Nathan and have been blessed with good jobs.

We are off to a good start this year and we have set some goals. We are planning on saving enough money to buy a home at the end of the year. Luckily, home prices are steadily dropping so the future looks bright for us. We have a lot to look forward to.
