No matter what, babies are inconsistent little creatures. Don't beat yourself up too much, you're doing an awesome job. Try not to compare yourself either. Sometimes I find myself doing that and it only makes it worse. Who says a baby has to be sleeping through the night at six months? I've learned after having G that everything will work out, especially when it comes to teething or growth spurts or vacations. Hang in there! Also, not that you need it, but I do love Tracy Hoggs The Baby Whisperer Solves All Your Problems book. It's awesome!Juliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07204411207869249057noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4434067735609375619.post-65694973375952404642012-07-29T18:50:02.762-07:002012-07-29T18:50:02.762-07:00have you read "healthy sleep habits happy bab...have you read "healthy sleep habits happy baby"? this book is a MIRACLE. you do the CIO but it gives you tips and details on how to make nap times and night time work. and let's you know that teething is not an issue for sleep. {never knew that!}

this book works! i have two children who are great sleepers because of this book. if my mind would forget little things i had read, i just refer to it. it is seriously my bible.

my children still sleep 12 hours a night and they are 4 and 7.

keep up with it. it will work. and you will have a child who sleeps amazing. my oldest took naps up until the age of 5. {until she was in school full time is when her naps stopped}

{my youngest isn't quite 5 yet but his naps will end once he is in school full time}

-elizabeth :)

{my google account isn't working. sorry for all the post}Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4434067735609375619.post-31067289085389090082012-07-29T18:46:01.225-07:002012-07-29T18:46:01.225-07:00This comment has been removed by the author.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4434067735609375619.post-9611000632236357812012-07-29T18:43:36.668-07:002012-07-29T18:43:36.668-07:00This comment has been removed by the author.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4434067735609375619.post-75837860350037670082012-07-29T05:48:06.128-07:002012-07-29T05:48:06.128-07:00I'm on my 2nd baby and I feel the exact same w...I'm on my 2nd baby and I feel the exact same way. I'm having a hard time spacing out her naps enough so she's tired enough to sleep, yet still getting enough sleep, and ideally taking a nap at the same time as her big brother so mama gets a little break in the middle of the day. It's very challenging.Vernahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06478658669344479650noreply@blogger.com
